Hi,

Im looking to buy a new TV and have looked at this, I dont have that much cash yet so I have a long time to make the final decision.

One thing that has come out in conversation with a friend is that the 1080p aspect of this tele is in question. In that 1080p over HDMI is not a ratified standard (due to copy protection at source) so when implemented its currently custom implemented by each supplier. If the standard is ratified and the F71 doesnt conform I wonder what support for firmware patching will be implemented.

I have not asked Sammy support this question yet. Thought I'd share though. Hope my mate is wrong.
